Hometown Pizza & Grill, 246 West Elm Street, Rockmart, has been pleasing appetites of customers for more than 20 years.

Although pizza is a primary attraction for hungry people, the menu offers a wide variety of appetizers from cheese sticks to fried green tomatoes.

An array of salads includes old favorites such as chef or chicken. Of course, there is also the unique Kamikaze that can consist of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, black olives, green olives banana peppers, pepperoni, ham and cheese. These are served with a choice of dressings.

If a customer wants more, he or she can order a side dish such as french fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, or baked potato.

A kids corner allows youngsters to be independent when they express their wish for either a hamburger and fries, chicken fingers and fries, grilled cheese and fries or child's chicken wings.

Calzone is available to those with different taste buds that need to be teased with flavors to satisfy the appetite. These include cheese, the house special, and veggie or create your own.

Hot and cold subs are a popular favorite of customers, who can order roast beef and cheese, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, pizza or meatball sub and a variety of others.

New on the grill is chicken cooked to perfection for those who like this traditional Southern food. All entries are served with french fries and texas toast, or you can substitute the fries with a baked potato for an additional small charge.

Hot wings to fit every appetite are available. All wings are served with celery and your choice of dressing.

If these choices do not please, then a burger may satisfy your hunger. Not only is the traditional order of one-half pound of lean beef or choice of toppings and french fries available but also Canadian bacon, mushroom, Swiss and others. Toppings include lettuce, tomatoes and pickles.

How about a pasta with twisty bread? Menu selections include spaghetti, chicken Parmesan, spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna and chicken Alfredo.

Hours are Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
