Lindale Hometown Pharmacy and Gifts
There’s a new pharmacy in Lindale committed to providing the best care to their customers they can provide. Lindale Hometown Pharmacy opened March 16, 2011 and owners Michael and Tammy Patterson want everyone to know their pharmacy will go the extra mile to make sure you stay happy and healthy.
“I’ve been in a retail pharmacy for many years,” said Tammy Patterson, who also acts as the head pharmacist at their Maple Road location. “I didn’t feel like I could take care of my patients the way I wanted to take care of them. So I decided to open the pharmacy, so I could get back to the patients and have a one-on-one relationship with them.”
Patterson is a graduate of Shorter University and the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. Before opening her business, she worked as a pharmacist for 14 years in a retail environment. Patterson said she loved being able to connect with her patients again.
“It’s a lot different. I’ve had a lot more opportunity to talk to people. It’s what I wanted out of my pharmacy career,” she said.
Patterson said the pharmacy also has more of a community feel because she and her husband live just blocks away from their business.
“We want to take care of our neighbors and community, that is what is really important to us,” said Patterson.
The full-service pharmacy also includes gifts featuring products from Willow Tree and Colonial Candles along with wind chimes, jewelry and initialed items.
Lindale Hometown Pharmacy is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are also open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information on getting a prescription filled or the other services that Lindale Hometown Pharmacy provides, call 706-235-0880.
